Even if you are borrowing the words from someone else, it still has the same effect. I was just talking with someone about how I thought they were quoting Plato, but the were actually quoting a rapper I had not heard of before. There have been so many people that everything worth saying has been said. But were is the fun in silence. Zack De La Rocha said, "SIlence can be violence, sorta like a slit wrist." I think he was right, and it reminds me of "the Raven" by Edger Allen Poe. |
